Event Overview
The HOOP IT UP FALL CLASSIC is one of the premier youth basketball tournaments hosted by Mid America Sports, bringing together competitive programs from across the region for a full day of structured, high-energy play.
Hosted inside the North Liberty Recreation Center. teams will compete across three courts — West, Center, and East — in a professionally organized environment built for athletes, coaches, and families.
Divisions
Boys: 3rd Grade to 8th Grade
Girls: 3rd Grade to 7th Grade
Every team is guaranteed a minimum of three games, ensuring meaningful competition and development opportunities throughout the day.
Tournament Standards & Game Rules
To maintain consistency and competitive integrity:
- IHSAA rules apply, with limited exceptions as determined by the Tournament Director.
- All games are officiated by certified referees.
- Championship awards will be presented to 1st place teams in each division
- Teams are expected to demonstrate strong sportsmanship at all times.
- Game schedules are typically released on the Monday of tournament week via email.
This structure ensures organized gameplay, fair competition, and a positive tournament experience.
Facility Policy
To support venue operations and cleanliness:
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the facility.
We appreciate cooperation from all teams and spectators.
