The HOOP IT UP FALL CLASSIC  is one of the premier youth basketball tournaments hosted by Mid America Sports, bringing together competitive programs from across the region for a full day of structured, high-energy play.

Hosted inside the North Liberty Recreation Center.  teams will compete across three courts — West, Center, and East — in a professionally organized environment built for athletes, coaches, and families.

Boys: 3rd Grade to 8th Grade
Girls: 3rd Grade to 7th Grade

Every team is guaranteed a minimum of three games, ensuring meaningful competition and development opportunities throughout the day.

To maintain consistency and competitive integrity:

• IHSAA rules apply, with limited exceptions as determined by the Tournament Director.
• All games are officiated by certified referees.
• Championship awards will be presented to 1st place teams in each division
• Teams are expected to demonstrate strong sportsmanship at all times.
• Game schedules are typically released on the Monday of tournament week via email.
   

This structure ensures organized gameplay, fair competition, and a positive tournament experience.

To support venue operations and cleanliness:

• Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the facility. 

We appreciate cooperation from all teams and spectators.
